Diana DiBerardinoDiana DiBerardino is a registered patent attorney counseling both U.S. and foreign clients on the protection of their intellectual property rights in a variety of technical fields such as physics, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Prior to co-founding DiBerardino McGovern IP Group LLC, Diana built and managed a successful solo intellectual property law practice, DiBerardino Law LLC. Before starting her solo practice, she was a patent practitioner at Fish & Richardson for ten years. Diana has prepared and prosecuted patent applications related to optics, imaging systems, laser systems, toys and games, software, power systems, electronics, business methods, medical devices, and mechanical devices. She is also experienced in patent clearance and freedom-to-operate analyses, non-infringement and invalidity analyses, and pre-suit due diligence.

Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Diana was a research assistant and teaching assistant for the University of Notre Dame Department of Physics (1992-1998), and a student collaborator in the Chemistry Department at Brookhaven National Lab Department (1990).
