Laura Lee | Patent Attorney
Laura Lee is a registered patent attorney from Hawaii. Laura worked in the Washington, DC region from 1999 until 2023 when she moved back to Honolulu, Hawaii. Laura has worked for the USPTO, law firms, and had been working for the past 10 years as in-house counsel of a carbon nanotubes, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals company.
Laura has been working with business leaders, inventors, and international law firms to assist clients in attaining intellectual property protection, enforcing their intellectual property rights, and monetizing their intellectual property assets through licensing and enforcement.
Prior to DMIP Group, Laura has examined, prosecuted, enforced, and licensed patents for nanotechnology, semiconductors, consumer electronics, software, medical devices, chemical products, and pharmaceuticals.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys creating functional pottery, and is fan of football, history, and travel. She has enjoyed the local hospitality on all of the continents except Antarctica, and in all of the states except Arkansas.
Laura is an active member of the Hawaii Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, and an inactive member of the Texas Bar Association. Laura lives and works in Honolulu, Hawaii.
