Meet Our Four Legged Friends
In Memoriam
October 2005 to September 2019
Boo was Diana’s constant work companion and often reminded her that while working hard was good, you also have to take a break and have some fun. Boo enjoyed going on walks with Diana every day, a good head scratch, and the occasional shared cookie—because sometimes you just have to treat yourself. After a long day, Boo always made sure to remind Diana it was quitting time by nosing her arm and taking her upstairs so they could relax together with a good book.

Puppy Hazel recently joined the DMIP Group team. She is keeping Diana very busy outside of work! Hazel enjoys tummy rubs and playing fetch and toy chases. Hazel is currently learning how to walk on a loose leash, as well as basic training like Drop It and Leave It, which are must learns for puppies. We want Hazel to grow up to be a good girl!

Ferra’s an old gal (seventeen and counting!) who lives with Jenn. Although these days she can usually be found sleeping on her heated bed, she still likes to make her voice known, especially if the food in her bowl isn’t fresh to her satisfaction.

Brut lives with Meghan and loves to strut his stuff in her home office. Meghan adopted Brut and his sister, Coconut, from a Tonkinese cat breeder who was retiring. Brut is very beautiful, and he knows it, but his personality is even more beautiful than his appearance. Brut loves to be held.

Diesel is a Weimaraner mix and lives with Sallie. Diesel and his littermates all had names associated with vehicles. While most of Diesel’s littermates were renamed after adoption, Sallie decided his name suited him well since he can be loud. Diesel enjoys adventures outside and car rides.

Coconut lives with Meghan. She is very cuddly, extremely friendly, and likes to play with other cats. Coconut shares Brut’s good looks and was runner up to be on the cover of a cat magazine when she was a kitten.

Chicory lives with Meghan. Chicory was rescued from a hoarder by a cat rescue group where Meghan volunteers. Chicory started out as a very shy cat who was afraid of people, but these days she loves to run around the house, play with her ribbon, and snuggle with the humans.

Fozzie is 7 years old and has lived with Greg and his wife Donita since he was 12 weeks. He loves to meet new people (and new dogs) and is curious about almost everything. He helps remind everyone that each day is new.

Viva & Frejya were adopted from a shelter in South Carolina as pups by Eileen’s son and daughter-in-law. After South Carolina they moved to Maui, Hawaii where they lived for 3 years, and then they moved to Florida, where they enjoy their new home and being much closer to Eileen.

Pickles & Dustin were found in a box on the side of the road in Virginia 3 years ago. Eileen’s son adopted them from the local shelter. Pickles & Dustin are believed to be brothers from the same litter. Pickles is a tenacious and highly needy little guy who is the bossy brother. Dustin is laid back, gentle, and extremely independent. Despite their differences, they love to play rough together and are quite entertaining to watch. Although the start of their lives was rough, it ended happy for all!

Sandy: Sandy was in a Manhattan, NY kill shelter and was rescued by Ruff House Rescue in Long Island, NY which introduced me to Sandy. She was on the euthanized list and was about to lose her precious life when she was rescued in the nick of time. As soon as we saw her, we fell in love. She was 6 months old and full of love. She loved everybody she came into contact with and lavished each and everybody with big kisses and lots of hugs. We spoiled her everyday with our love too. Sandy passed away last April 19, 2022 at 13 years old. Our hearts are still broken as she was so much more than just a dog – she was our child.
